Here's a sample of the high level of training you'll receive from our instructors who are specialized in your position:
"The 3 step drop consists of the first drive step away from center, the crossover second step and the third setup step, which becomes the drive foot for any three step passing route. All the same fundamentals apply to the second and third step as apply to the first drive step away from center.
The quarterback rotational plane discipline remains the most important fundamental of this and every, drop, sprint, and roll. As the quarterback strikes the ground with his first step, his crossover foot passes just beyond his first step hitting the ground parallel with the hash marks and crossing over his first step.
The third step then slides around the second planting under the shoulder inches in front of the second step allowing for a slightly “open stance”.
An “open stance” refers to the “downfield”, (the direction the offense is driving), shoulder and hip being held at an angle less than 90 degrees on the quarterback rotational plane. In other words the up field shoulder and hip are clearly visible from directly in front of the quarterback, (for right handed quarterbacks this would be their right shoulder and hip), while the quarterbacks back is not visible at all. If all criteria are met we are now in the optimum throwing position."
